I worked with Gym Junkies to create their subscription based membership site. The site was built using WordPress and utilises WooCommerce, Buddypress, Stripe, S2Member and quite a bit of custom PHP to tie it all together.
When an order is placed, a subscription payment date is calculated based on the current day. This means that all subsequent payments come out on the same day of the following month, allowing for replenishment of stock and batch order processing.
A back-end reporting system was set up using WooCommerce allowing Gym Junkies to mark orders as shipped, automatically despatching emails letting users know that their Gym Junkies box is on it’s way.
There is also a restricted, private members area where users can interact with each other and the resident experts.
